Case Study: Allergies

Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)

The Problem

Ron was diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE), a condition that causes Mast Cells to concentrate in his throat and make swallowing more difficult. He also reported fatigue and a number of high histamine symptoms. He had been on a PPI for nearly 10 years as well as conventional allergy medications.

The Solution

Ron and I worked together for some time. He’s completed a number of blood tests as well as tests for mold, dysbiosis and viral antibodies. I addressed potential mycotoxins in Ron’s sinuses and also introduced him to a number of natural supplements designed to break down histamine and stabilize Mast cell release.

The Results

Ron’s doctor is impressed with how his throat has improved and through nutraceuticals and dietary modification. He now has his EoE under control. We’re still working on other aspects of his health, but his quality of life is much better today.

Understanding Allergies

Conventional interventions can be helpful, it’s important to get to the root cause. Nothing improves high histamine like addressing its source
